Oh how true!
I've really had fun doing this one because it is funny and TRUE!
Putting the black outline around the shoes wasn't fun, but not as hard as I thought it would be. I was going to us my little Xyron, but then remembered dear hubby had gotten me a Embellishement Glue Stick by Pioneer--says Extra strong!
It worked pretty well!
Here's how it was done!!
My Gatefold Card details:
Paper for card 5 ½ x 8 ½
Scor 2 1/8” from each end.
Outside of card mat:
Solid mats: 1 7/8 x 5/1/4
Pattern mats: 1 5/8 x 5
Inside of card mats:
Solid mat: 4 x 5 ¼
Pattern mat: 3 ¾ x 5
I used cart:
A Child’s Year-p75
I used card/shift/center 1 ¾” cut for the 2 front phrases.
I used card/shift/center 3” cut for the inside phrase.
Graphically Speaking-p 63
I used Icon/1 ½” cut black for bottom front shoe.
I used Icon Blackout/1 ½” blue for bottom front shoe.
I used Flip/Icon/1 ¼” cut black for top front shoe and
Used flip/icon/1 ¼” cut blue for top front shoe.
The different color shoes are done the same at 1 ¼” (2 reg—2 flip)
I ran the words off of my computer—font BixAntiqueScriptHm 18 pt except the word every in=22 pt..
I used card/shift/center 1 ¾” cut for the 2 front phrases.
I used card/shift/center 3” cut for the inside phrase.
