A few more cards.....

I think I have tweeked my style. LESS IS MORE!

This is my first card from American Alphabet. My best friends father-in-law passed away this week. I made this card for her and her family.

My daughter's doyfriends sister is celebrating her birthday this weekend, so I used my new Art Philosophy cartridge to make this flower and the stamp that comes with the cartridge from Close to my Heart.

This skater is from Jolly Holly cartridge and on an action wobble.

Hope you enjoy!

I've been neglecting my blog.......

but have been making lots of cards and posting lots on facebook 'Cricut Users' page.

I found a new blog the other day that had 'simple' but very elegant looking cards--so I started making some. Hubby went crazy over them, and when I said,'I think you like these better than the ones I spend so much time on,' and he wisely said, 'I love all the cards you make!'---what a wise man--sorry ladies, he's taken.

Now I'll show you my new style and leave a link to the blog I found them.

The Peace on Earth is a cutout from a new cartridge Scandinavian Christmas Card and Holly is from Art Philosophy.

The Joy is also from Scandinavian Christmas Card.

These are also from Scandinavian Christmas Card, it has another Tree I will be making too. This is a solutions cartridge and so easy to put together.

This is a card and design from Art Philosophy. I copied it from a post on Cricut Users page. I forgot to cut the stem and just used a sharpie to color it in! The Stamp is from one of Mary's from Cardz TV. Love this card.

The simple card idea came from I'm in Haven. Check it out--it's awesome!

Well, got to hit the Cricut! Until next time---

Met a Cricut newbie....

Met the nicest couple at Hobby Lobby today. They probably thought I was crazy--but I love Cricut--all three of mine and I hope to buy the Imagine after Christmas--with my Christmas money! I hope I didn't come on too crazy--but so much more can be done with a Cricut cartridge than with a die cut and they cost almost the same if you buy the die cut in the store and the cartridge on ebay!

Glad I could help--she called me a blessing!

I got the Close to my Heart-Art Philosophy cartridge---Love It!

Embossed with snowflakes and the banner & snowflake cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge. The border was punched on a Martha Stewart punch.

I love flowers and cut the cart, flourish, branch, and layers on the Art Philosophy cartridge. The Blessing stamp is a new one from Mary's Cardz TV!
This is simple gifts from the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped with the stamps that come from the Close to my Heart collection. I used the Happy Birthday embossing folder.

Hope you enjoy!

Loving my new cartridge, Florals Embellished.

Another new cartridge....

---another favorite--maybe---Florals Embellished Cartridge.

Here's a card I made for a church friends. She is a widow and live by herself and fell down her attic stairs last weekend. I haven't seen her, but my hubby, Terry, says she looks like she's been beat-up. So I thought I would send her this card from my new cartidge. I love the way it came out. I used mostly cardstock from Walmart and an old stack from Me & My Big Ideas. Lots of layering and pieces, but I think it was worth it. I used Martha Stewarts small pearls for the birds eye and for the center of the flowers. Then I added a yellow bow. The phrase came from Beyond Birthdays.

I think I love this cartridge
