A Hoppy Birthday Card.....

Couldn't find a frog--so I used this cute little grasshopper and embelished with my light green stickles.

This is for our youth pastor at church. Just got the google eyes at WalMart! I really like what it does to this little guy!

I think he'll get a kick out of it!

I really love these S-fold cards...HELP--somebody stop me....

This one is very similar to the one I entered in the Cricut Cardz Challenge.

I'm sending this one out this week for a friend of mine from church.

Found the perfect verse and Smile and Friends on one of my Cricut cart! How cool is that!

You never know when you will need a sympathy card. The colors of this are beautiful. I believe this is a K & Company collection--lots of printing pages--but I think I have some ideas to use them too.

Now I'm going to try a Tri-Fold!! Woo Hoo!! I'm on a roll!!!

My S fold card for my first challenge....

I am so excited and love the way this card came out!!

I love it so much, I'm going to make one for a Sympathy card.

The colors didn't come out good in the picture. I used Martha Stewart paper 'playful pink paper pad'. I couldn't find a coordinating print to use with the 'diagonal' print....and the green looked so plain...and a little light went on and said....pull out that Cuttlebug you got!

I embellished alot with buttons (did you notice the one big white one--the one in a million!) and flowers and pearls and even a crystal cross behind the flower to hide the back of the brad!

To find out the measurement on the S fold card, go here. Mary at Cardz TV has one of the most professional, informative sites I've been too, and I search for them all. She is also very sweet and encouraging!

So this is my entry. You won't enjoy it as much as I had fun making it!!!

Oh my gosh.....

I got an award!!!

Thank you Mary from Cardz For U

I just do it because I enjoy making the cards and using them in a ministry to send to those who need a little hug!

In accepting this award, I'm to list 10 things that make me happy!

1 & 2 and 3 are easy, so I'll list them as one.

1. I love my family, Terry, who has put up with me for over 38 years! My angel of a daughter, 17 year old Laura Lynn and my sweet puppy Buttercup.

2. Rainbows make me happy, one because they are beautiful to look at and because it is a promise from our God.

3. It makes me happy to live in the south. Southern people are some of the nicest you will ever meet anywhere.

4. I love to knit and crochet and it makes me happy to give my items as gifts.

5. I love my new Cricut and learning all the neat things I can do with it.....it still amazes me!

6. I spending lots of time search all the wonderful blogs and being in awe of how talented and creative all of these women are.

7. I love getting new cartridges and supplies and making new projects with them.

8. I love using the Cricut for non-scrapbooking and card making projects (I made cupcake holders with the Sweet Treats cartridge for my daughter tonight).

9. I love flowers and making them with my Walk In My Garden cartridge make me happy.

10. I love getting my first award!!!!!! It made me happy!

I'd like to pass this award on to 3 ladies who I enjoy their sites:

Megan

Christina

Tracy

Thanks to all who list their beautiful ideas....I promise to try and use them to honor my Lord!

Thank you Mary for the "S" fold.....

This was a fun, easy, and fast, with a beautiful outcome!

I found a great verse site, just click here

My husband suggested the black mat and I think it is kinda 'sexy' for Valentines Day!

I didn't have the pretty 'ruffly' heart cartridge that Mary used, but found a neat LOVE that I liked on the Home Accents 'Solutions' cartridge.

I cut the LOVE stamp at 2" and then shift and the heart in red. I mounted the red heart with foam tape and then mounted the LOVE on foam tape also.

The other measurements you can get from the video on Cardz TV 'S Fold Valentine Card'.

The paper was a real bargin, in the Target $1 bend, you get 4 glitter sheet and 4 corresponding pinted sheets--Acid-Free Paper! I'm sorry now I only got 2! But I got a red stamp pad and a pink stamp pad and some cut clear stamps and some small wooden stamps too! All for $1 each, and didn't call my friend until after I had bought everything I wanted-tee hee!

Hope you enjoy!
