A pretty Birthday card....

for a beautiful friend!

The doily card has to be my favorite. I have never been disappointed in any card I have made with this cut. Love putting ribbon throught the holes!

Thanks for looking. Hope my friend likes her card.

I used 'The basics' paper pack from Hobby Lobby. Cut at 4 1/2 inches--because I used an 8 1/2 x 11 pc of paper to make envelope at fit to page.

Just felt like doing a skunk today...

and what better cartridge than Create a Critter?

And I've come to learn to love adding a little surprise on the inside.

I used a large butterfly punch and heart punch (both Martha Stewart) and the boarder punch--also Martha's. I think the stamp (Stinkin' CUTE) is My Pink Stamper Stamps: Punny-licious. Going to get more of those--love her stamps.

Don't forget to comment--love comments!!!!

Pagoda, I luv u!!!

I have to admit, I haven't used all the cartridges I have to there potential, but I've really wanted to get into the Pagoda cartridge, so I did yesterday, and boy, I had fun and still have some ideas going around in my head for some other ones.

The first and second cards are from page 31. I love this tree and was going to use it solely, but then added just a bit. Just a small bow on one and a butterfly punched from a Martha Stewart punch--I believe this is the small butterfly punch.

I cut the tree @ 4" and used just scrap paper I had used on other projects.

This tree was on the next page--45 and I again cut it at 4" and used the same punch.

I love pandas and cut this one from the same cartridge on page 36 at 3 1/2". I didn't even try to glue the little eyes on, I used a white gel pen and add a tweak on the ears too (I love my white gel pen). I cut the bamboo from poage 48 and cut them at 4" and used a pattern paper as the highlighted section.

I want to make the fans and some of the branches too. If you have this cartridge--pull it out and see what you can do with it--and let me see them too!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave me a comment!

A country life card....

I've got so many ideas for this cartridge, but remember a pitcher in a bowl in our guest room when I was growing up on a farm in Kentucky. I still think of myself as a country girl, even after living 30 years in St. Louis. I always felt like a round peg in a square hole---it wasn't a good fit.
I used Martha Stewards butterfly punch with 3 stamps for the butterfly and an unknown stamp set I pick up at Micheal's--'Just For You'--(I think).

I love adding a little surprise on the inside. I used an old Martha Stewart leaf punch and a set of a very small flower punch I got at Target (got a Christmas set and a cupcake set--top and bottom--also) and put a center on the flowers with my I-Rock. I think the little flower punch set is from EK.

I got my new solutions cartridge late yesterday afternoon -- Spring Holiday Cards -- they are so cute--came so close to not getting them! They are great for some really fast fun cards! Love them--will make pictures and post later!

Hope you like my Pitcher card. I LOVE COMMENTS!!! I would like to be making cards than blogging about the cards I made--UNTIL I get a comment on my post!

Thanks to you who regularly leave comments--they keep me sharing!
